Summit Volcano turbo shields utilize extreme-temperature materials to keep heat in the hot side of the turbo, where it belongs. These turbo shield heat bags also reduce underhood temperatures, which protects painted surfaces, shields sensitive components, and maintains maximum fuel/air density. Utilizing Volcano fiber and other high-tech materials allows these shields to be stronger and more flexible—while operating at increased temperatures (of 1,800 degrees F continuous and 2,500 degrees F intermittent radiant heat). Plus, Volcano fiber on the outer shell gives your exhaust system a custom look of carbon fiber. The shields are available individually or in kits for a variety of turbocharger styles.
