Manufactured from heavy gauge steel and EDP coated for strength and corrosion protection, this tailgate will provide quality and detail that your project deserves.

For 1976 trucks, there were 2 tailgate designs. 04-471 Fits the 2nd design and uses a stud to attach the tailgate link. The 1st design uses a bolt to attach the link. See part number 04-469 for the 1st design. Due to the size and nature of sheetmetal, minor imperfections, scratches and dents can occur during shipping and handling. These minor imperfections are considered normal and can be repaired during the installation and bodywork stages. Always inspect your shipment prior to signing for delivery. If major damage is noted, you have the option to refuse the delivery.
