RaceQuip Single Layer Racing Driver Fire Suit Jacket, SFI 3.2A/ 1 , Black 4X-Large

The RaceQuip 111 series single-layer SFI-1 racecar driver's fire suit jacket is made from Pyrovatex® FRC material. Note that sometimes this material is referred to as "fireproof", but actually all auto racing safety gear is "fire retardant". Pyrovatex® offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This fire retardant cotton based (FRC) material is used because it retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex® process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level, with proper care, the jacket will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment. All driving jackets are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All RaceQuip jackets feature a high quality heavy duty Nomex® backed brass zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes found on RaceQuip driving pants. The black accents: high-back collar, arm cuffs, and epaulets give the RaceQuip driving jacket an unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, and you have a single layer racing jacket that provides an outstanding value. Exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 specs with a TPP rating of 11. Available in Black, Red and Blue with Black arm stripes and manufactured in sizes from Small – 5X-Large (refer to sizing chart).
