What can our Summit Racing 145 mJ Multi-Spark CDI systems do for you? For starters, the multi-spark digital capacitive discharge ignition boxes use the latest RISC-based microprocessor controlled circuitry to create hot, consistent sparks for better performance throughout the powerband. These capacitive discharge systems create a powerful 145 mJ spark at full voltage, with multiple sparks below 3,000 rpm to improve starting ability, idle quality, and throttle response. Operating voltage is from 4.7 to 18 V. They have a 630 V primary and 63,000 V secondary output, plus a built-in rev limiter--just use the rotary dial to set it--up to 9,900 rpm. The ignition box has a built-in safe-guard to prevent damage by shutting off its output if too much current is detected. The lightweight cast aluminum housing of box features a durable silver powdercoat finish, and comes with direct plug-in connectors for most 2-wire distributors (including points and magnetic pickups), labeled wiring, vibration-resistant mounts, Weather Pack connectors, hardware, and detailed installation instructions.
