Manufactured from a compounded blend of butyl rubbers, the adhesive-backed matting features a 0.0275 in. thick aluminum outer layer—and can withstand temperatures from -30 to 550 degrees F. Best of all, these self-adhesive sheets will adhere to a variety of surfaces, like cold-rolled steel, primer, fiberglass, and most plastics with little to no surface preparation. Ultra heat barrier and sound-deadening mats are available in a variety of sizes, thicknesses, and quantity packages.
