These self-adhesive shields measure only 0.24 inches thick and are able to handle up to 1,000 degrees F ambient temperature. They come in natural aluminum or painted in a high-temperature black coating. Summit Racing heat shields can provide a remarkable decrease in protected surface temperatures.
