Summit Racing quick-release fastener weld plates are the anchors for quarter-turn, cam-lock, quick-release fasteners, including our own Summit lines and other forms of quarter turn fasteners. They mount on the part of the vehicle to which you are attaching the removable panel and carry the special spring that the fastener uses as an anchor. These plates are a required part in many quick-release fastener installations.
