Cummins electric water pumps from Summit Racing allow you to save both weight and horsepower. They’re constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and flow more efficiently than belt-driven stock pumps on the 1989 through 2009 Dodge Cummins 5.9L diesel inline 6-cylinder engine. In addition, Cummins electric water pumps only draw 6.1 amps and weigh a mere six pounds. The pumps have a flow rate of 50 gallons-per-minute at 12 Volts and 55 GPM at 16 Volts. Once installed, you will need to replace the belt with one that is approximately seven inches shorter.
