Performance cam designs require performance valve springs to keep everything under control and running smoothly. And modern springs with non-stock diameters require new retainers to handle the recommended higher pressures and installed heights. Summit's steel valve spring retainers are an affordable solution. Precision-machined from 4140 chromoly and finished in black oxide, these retainers are specifically designed for positive retention and location when combined with performance valve springs. They're available for single, double, and beehive-style spring applications.
