These Summit battery terminal disconnect switches mount directly onto your battery, so you can disconnect it while charging. This will save your alternator and solid-state voltage regulator from unneeded stress. They can also be used to deter thieves from stealing your car, by rendering the electrical system totally powerless. Rated at 100 amps continuous, these disconnect switches can be used with either 12 or 24 V DC.
